Pioneering One Africa! Boston Consulting Group names @GloWorld driver of African integration
Fully integrated telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has been named one of the African companies pioneering integration on the continent. In a report by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) entitled, ‘Pioneering One Africa: African Corporations Trail-blazing across the Continent’, the telecoms operator was listed as one of the six African companies driving the amalgamation of economic activities within the continent. The others are Dangote Group, Guaranty Trust Bank, United Bank for Africa and Jumia. BCG identified 150 companies that are blazing a trail toward a more integrated Africa. They consist of 75 Africa-based companies and 75 multinational companies that have established impressive track records in Africa and are contributing to further integration of the continent.
